This site was
an idea of mine to have some homeopathic information placed on the web
for others. But because I like organized and comprehensive information,
it became a large site. I wanted to know why homeopathy worked and to
find a logical place to put the answers. I learned about homeopathy from
someone who didn't understand it but had the desire to help people in
any way she could in 1985. Dr. Allen Neiswander put up with my incessant
questions while I was in Pasadena. So, to return the favor and being that
I'm a teacher by profession, I want to teach people what I've learned.
I read and attended an NCH
study group in LA as well as practiced as a lay homeopath. Now I've gotten
too busy with computer stuff so I keep a gigantic remedy closet for me
and my friends. It seems there are more talented homeopaths than computer
people who like homeopaths. So I'll be working for homeopathy on the web
and sending people to better homeopaths than me. You can see some of my
web sites here.
The rest of my background is associated
with study groups, NCH
conventions, and meeting some wonderful people who love to help
heal others. I taught at Santa
Rosa Junior College and devoted my time
to leading a Macintosh
user group and starting a Windows user
group.
I moved to Kansas City, started my first
web site in 1995, did some web magazine production, taught software
development at KCAI, Sprint and Oracle, got happily married and am currently
teaching with a local training company.
In 1996, I heard the call for people
to help out with the first homeopathic e-zine, Homeopathy
Online. I helped out and eventually did all of the production for
the site until 1998. I started an NCH classical homeopathic study group
here in Kansas City but after I taught all the people who wanted to
know about it in this area, attendance dropped off and I ended the
group. All of the study group materials and information I collected
for a nurses' continuing education course became this web site.
